Who could have guessed a childhood of building forts in the woods coupled with arranging her Barbie Dreamhouse would have led to a professional life as an Architect.  Sara is the founding principal and a practicing architect with over seventeen years of professional experience in Oregon and California.  A native of the San Francisco Bay Area she moved to Oregon for architecture school getting her M.Arch from the University of Oregon in 1990 and opened the firm in 1997. 

Sara has always had an interest in housing and has had the opportunity to work on this building type all of her professional career.  She has a special interest in affordable housing and pursues this component of the business as a fundamental aspect of the practice.  Sara has a wonderful design sense that allows minimal budgets to appear gracious and attractive.

A closet Francophile, she is usually found planning her next trip to Paris.
